GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Azhar Qayyum Nahra, the losing candidate of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has been declared successful in the vote recount in the NA-81 Gujranwala.

He has emerged victorious by 3,201 votes. Bilal Ijaz, an independent candidate backed by the PTI, was declared successful by 7,791 votes.

Azhar Qayyum Nahra had challenged the election results. The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had ordered the vote recounting in 75 polling stations of the constituency.
